Abstract
Several letters to the editor are presented in response to the articles in the previous issues including "UC's land-grant mission fuels nation's growth, prosperity" by Rose Hayden-Smith in the April-June 2012 issue, "Research and adoption of biotechnology strategies could improve California fruit and nut crops" by Victor M. Haroldsen and others in the April-June 2012 issue and "Food as Medicine" in the July-September 2011 issue.
