Abstract
The article focuses on the treatment of schizophrenic spectrum disorders (SSD) to children. It notes on the case of 15-year old boy named, Bob who was admitted to a private psychiatric day placement to another due to his lack of educational progress and his need for frequent physical management. The diagnosis found on the boy has met the criteria for Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) and indications of SSD. The case clarifies several factors to be considered for effective treatment of SSD.
