Abstract
The article offers information about practical guidance on how to manage diabetic patients who choose to fast during Ramadan as the holy month for the Muslims. The authors suggest that general practitioners (GPs) should approach the Muslim community leaders in delivering the message about the risk of fasting to people with diabetes. They also suggest that tailored management plan for Ramadan which include a review of the effectiveness of treatment is important.
