Abstract
The radio and radio play theories of that time, centered around the spoken word and the intimate voice, cannot be understood without the technology available and appropriated after World War II. Ehardt understands radio as a checkered space of discourse ("wechselvoller Diskursraum", p. 12) and takes the social construction of technology as a point of departure.
