Abstract
In a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study we showed that treatment of hypertensive patients with ascorbic acid lowers blood pressure. Further studies of ascorbic acid to treat hypertension, with clinical endpoints, are warranted. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
