Abstract
Analyzes eight new fruitless (fru) gene mutations to determine its functions in the central nervous system of Drosophila melanogaster. Functions in male courtship behavior and differentiation of male-specific abdominal structure; Fru gene's sex-nonspecific vital function; Functions in neuronal differentiation; Functions in the sex-determination regulatory hierarchy.
