Abstract
Investigates the human vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP) receptors VPAC [sub 1] and VPAC [2] mutated at conserved tyrosine residues int he first transmembrane helix. VPAC [sub 1] binding sites that displayed high and low affinities for VIP; Potency of VIP at the Y130A and Y134A mutated VPAC [sub 2] receptors; Interaction of the conserved tyrosine residues with the VIP.
