Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of acne keloidalis nuchae (AKN), a chronic inflammatory condition that primarily affects men of dark phototypes in various ethnic groups, particularly African males. The study collected data from 79 patients with AKN and found significant associations between AKN classification by lesion type and the grade of improvement after treatment. The report also highlights the need for early diagnosis and treatment to improve prognosis and prevent complications. The main limitation of the study is the lack of a control group and matching of treatment response with therapeutic modality. [Extracted from the article]
