Abstract
The article offers information on the treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). It states that failure to recognize sleep apnea among patients undergoing hemodialysis may be due to a lack of awareness by providers of the definition, diagnosis, and treatment of OSA. It mentions that OSA has a high and rising prevalence in the general population, attributable in part to both the aging of the population and increase in obesity.
