Abstract
The article presents a study which estimated the 10-year relative survival in epithelial ovarian cancer. It suggests that a 10-year survival may be an appropriate endpoint since most patients who are alive at five years have active disease. Researcher, employing the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results 1995-2007 database and the actuarial life method, have found a higher than expected 10-year relative survival for stage III patients.
