Abstract
The article discusses the benefits of addressing health risks in the workplace can be seen in the London 2012 construction programme in England. Economically, the British construction industry is facing some very tough times as concerns remain that the industry may suffer from a lack of large-scale new projects once current ones, such as the Olympic build, are completed. Contractors were encouraged to share information with the occupational hygienists about upcoming work.
