Abstract
Dear Editor, Primary cutaneous marginal zone lymphoma (PCMZL) is a low-grade cutaneous B-cell lymphoma with no evidence of extracutaneous extension at time of diagnosis.1 It is categorized within the MALT (extranodal marginal zone type) lymphoma subtype.1,2 While the etiology of PCMZL is unclear, increasing evidence has demonstrated an increased risk of MALT lymphomas in certain autoimmune conditions.2-5 This case report describes a case of PCMZL in the context of a diagnosis of subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus (SCLE). Lymphoma development in patients with autoimmune and inflammatory disorders: what are the driving forces?. [Extracted from the article]
