Abstract
The article discusses the use of agent and web services technologies when designing an architectural style for dynamic medical cross-organizational workflow (COW) management system. It mentions the purpose of the COW system of managing and automating processes across organizations, the integration of the clinical decision support system (CDSS) and computerized prescriber order entry (CPOE) and an overview of the Dynamic Coordination in Cross-Organizational Workflow (DynaCoorFlow) prototype.
