Abstract
The article discusses a study which examined the prognostic importance of pathological, preoperative clinical and laboratory factors in local invasive bladder cancer (BC) following radical cystectomy (RC). Topics include the impact of serum sodium concentration on the overall survival of patients, the development of a prognostic model of risk classification based on serum sodium concentration and C-reactive protein (CRP) level, and the affect of serum sodium on cancer-related immune response.
