Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 76-year-old woman diagnosed of primary fallopian tube carcinoma (PFTC) and underwent transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) due to pelvic pain. She underwent total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and peritoneal washing cytology. She was followed-up after 14 months of primary surgery and nine months after chemotherapy. The article discusses that PFTC is a rare disease which accounts for 0.3-1.8 percent of all primary gynecologic neoplasms.
