Abstract
The article discusses a study by J. Gibbs and colleagues which shows the control of pulmonary epithelial clock in the recruitment of neutrophil to the lungs in mice and the interactions between systemic and local circadian clocks. The study shows the increase in the number of inflammatory mediatiors in mice that lack Bmal1 in bronchiolar club cells compared with wild-type mice prolonged from chemokine (CXCL5).
