Abstract
The article focuses on the rare condition known as de Garengeot hernia, which involves the presence of the appendix within a femoral hernia. It describes a case of a 78-year-old woman with a de Garengeot hernia containing acute appendicitis and a carcinoid tumor, a combination that has never been reported before.
