Abstract
The article discusses the highlights of an expert panel roundtable meeting on the use of sinecatechins ointment 15 percent to treat sexually-transmitted external genital and perianal warts (EGW) or Condylomata acuminata. Topics covered include the life cycle and natural history of human papillomavirus (HPV) infections, EGW's clinical presentation and diagnosis, and prevention and treatment. Also mentioned are catechins and other components derived from green tea leaves in the ointment.
