Abstract
The article presents a case study of a man, who was in the age of mid-30s, was hospitalized with suspected tuberculosis (TB) in Hawaii. It mentions patient's delay of being evaluated by a health care provider and his resultant neurologic incapacitation highlight the importance of early diagnosis and the challenges associated with accessing health care among mobile population; and also highlights the clinical importance of considering TB in persons from high TB-burden countries.
