Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 41-year old male airline passenger traveling from Frankfurt, Germany to San Francisco, California with meningococcal disease. It states that the patient experienced fever, headache, and nausea. His symptoms started with neck stiffness and was immediately transported to a local hospital where he was in septic shock. It mentions that he was treated with quadrivalent meningococcal polysaccharide vaccine.
