Abstract
A case study of 44-year-old man with a history of autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP)P and thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is presented. Examination revealed left-sided pronator drift and weakness, defect in pupil, and bicytopenia with haemoglobin. Treatment includes transfusion of platelets, bypassing haemostatic agent therapy, and intravenous tranexamic acid. Patient was discharged with maintenance medications of cyclophosphamide daily.
