Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the toxic anterior segment syndrome (TASS) in a tertiary healthcare institution in Australia. The study analyzes the outcome of the routine cataract surgery and identify cases of TASS in patients involved in the study. The study determined that TASS occurred in an outbreak fashion and symptoms were reduced within 6 months in all cases.
