Abstract
The article discusses the results of the Program on the Theological Exploration of Vocation (PTEV), a program sponsored by the organization Lilly Endowment to develop a sense of purpose in U.S. college students. Topics include the use of participatory approaches to higher education, the impact of such liberal education on student engagement and post-graduation career development, and reflective practices.
