Abstract
The article presents the discussion on providing a comprehensive exploration of challenges experienced by parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Serbia during the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown. Topics include facing with difficulties such as poverty, inadequate training and programs, stigma, and various forms of neglect; and greatest concern of caregivers being the worsening of autism symptoms due to the worsening of behavioral problems.
