Abstract
The article offers information on a study which deals with implementation of hands-on biology activities in classrooms is challenging because of the need for specialized equipment and expertise to grow living cells. It mentions that synthetic biology offers educational opportunities, as it requires students to confront real-world, interdisciplinary problems at the intersection of diverse disciplines including chemistry, biology, engineering, computer science, design, policy, and ethics.
