Abstract
Presents a study which described the consequences on the interlayer exchange coupling by the addition of a small amount of silver impurities within cobalt layers of high crystalline quality cobalt/copper/cobalt(silver) and copper/ruthenium/cobalt(silver) trilayers. Changes in the amplitude, period, and phase of the coupling; Measurement of the ferromagnetic resonance; Difference in coupling strengths for the copper and ruthenium spacer-layer systems.
