Abstract
The article discusses the highlights of the Third Global Workshop on Melanoma in Berlin, Germany on November 18, 2009. Among the topics discussed were recent advances in the field of melanoma, which included the impact of an increased molecular understanding of its genesis, heterogeneity and progression on patient therapy. Participants also discussed the implications of recent data on adjuvant therapy for advanced melanoma.
