Abstract
The article presents a study investigating which clinical characteristics are predictive for great saphenous vien recurrence after ultrasound-guided foamsclerotherapy. The study examined the data of 255 patients who were treated for great saphenous vein incompetence with ultrasound-guided foamsclerotherapy from multicentre prospective randomized controlled trial. The results showed that said foamsclerotherapy for proximal great saphenous vein is less effective in patients with a large vein.
