Abstract
The article presents a study concerning the association of plasma isoprostane levels to disease progression in multiple sclerosis (MS). Patients with clinically isolated syndrome (CIS), relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS), and primary progressive MS (PPMS) underwent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and clinical testing, and their plasma levels of 8,12-iso-iPF2alpha-VI were determined. It shows that plasma levels were lower in PPMS patients compared to RRMS and CIS patients.
