Abstract
Conventional radiology, interventional radiology and nuclear medicine were areas of rapid development in the past decade, thus increasing the importance of personnel dosimetry for medical staff. Most of active and passive personal dosimeters are not sensitive enough to measure the small doses, especially in pulsed ionising radiation field. This paper provides a short review of active personal dosimeters response observed during operation in pulsed, continuous and gamma radiation fields. The aim of this work was to provide a comparison of the popular active personal dosimeters used for occupational dosimetry in medical field. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
