Abstract
A conference paper on the role of beta2-glycoprotein (GPI) in the silent antigen removal by Kupffer cells is presented. It uses a perfused mouse liver as a model of Kupffer cell-dependent phagocytosis and related respiratory burst activity. It correlates results with those obtained in isolated mouse non-parenchymal cells.
