Abstract
In the presented paper we give an overview of existing approaches for single electron pumps. A single walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) based device, which is driven by surface acoustic waves (as proposed by Talyanskii et al., 2001), is discussed. The compatibility of the lithographic structures of the sample with the SWNT suspension and involved chemistry is studied.
