Abstract
The article discusses the use of the Sub-Terahertz waveguide semiconductor switches driven by laser emission to cut a continuous working (CW) microwave emission of wave packets. Topics discussed include the backward-wave oscillator (BWO) test source, the semiconductor plate's maximum heating zone, and the availability of the laser-power precision measurement devices.
