Abstract
A high sensitive low-energy neutrino detection experiment, KamLAND (Kamioka Liquid scintillator Anti-Neutrino Detector), began data taking in January 22, 2002. The detector is a large volume (1200m3) liquid scintillator in a deep underground mine in Kamioka, Japan. Detector performance and νe signal candidates from the KamLAND long baseline reactor νe oscillation experiment is presented. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
