Abstract
The article discusses the synthesis of Uridine 5'-diphosphoiduronic acid (UDP-IdoA) and uridine 5'-diphosphohexenuronic acid (UDP-GlcA) as potential enzymatic substance of heparin. Being studied as an important class of therapeutic agents with specific interactions in both intracellular and extracellular environment, heparin is considered as the widely used injectable anticoagulant which prevents blood clot. It also contains the highest negative charge density of any biological molecule.
