Abstract
The article presents the discussion on ASTA working group researching the career life cycle of a science teacher from preservice to retirement for supporting professional learning programs for the members. Topics include showing the relationships between individual teacher contexts in the personal and workplace life; and factors containing wellbeing, collegiality, isolation and emotional intelligence.
