Abstract
One Chinese patient was evidenced using high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (HR-MRI), and a Latin American patient was evidenced using digital subtraction angiography (DSA) [[2]]. Some cases and small sample size reports have found that HR-MRI can easily identify the imaging signs of MCA dissection, even in the case of dissections that only show non-specific stenosis or occlusion on angiography [[7]-[9]]. 1 a CTA shows severe stenosis of the right middle cerebral artery (MCA) M1 segment. b MRI shows acute cerebral infarction. c, d TOF-MRA shows severe stenosis and a "double lumen" sign (yellow arrow) in the right MCA. e, f High-resolution MRI (HR-MRI) shows hyperintense mural hematomas (white arrow) on T1- and T2-weighted. g, h HR-MRI contrast-enhanced shows mural hematoma (white arrow) and hyperintense intimal flaps (red arrow) She was given 100 mg aspirin combined with 75 mg clopidogrel and 40 mg atorvastatin in the emergency department, and then she was admitted to our stroke ward.
