Abstract
The article presents a study of soil samples with high concentration of octachlorodibenzo-p-dioxins (OCDD) from Sa Pa, Vietnam. The study uses gas chromatography/high-resolution mass spectrometry (GC/HRMS) to determine polychlorinated dibenzodioxins (PCDD) and dibenzofurans (PCDF) with selected ions. Results suggest that the identified methoxy derivatives are intermediates or byproducts of OCDD metabolism.
