Abstract
The article reports on a child safety program called Keep Me Safe Safe Storytime, which was implemented at the Beebe Memorial Library in Wakefield, Massachusetts following an extensive case of sexual abuse at a day care center in Wakefield and bombings which occurred in 2013 at the Boston Marathon. A discussion of the role that the program plays in keeping children safe from sexual abuse, and of the reasons why libraries are well suited to offer such programs, is presented.
