Abstract
The article discusses the evolution of Electronic Warfare (EW) in the 1970s, focusing on its applications in the Vietnam War. It highlights the decline in emphasis by the Department of Defense and the resurgence of interest by the Air Force in the late 1970s and early 1980s, with the development of the Electronic-warfare aircraft's General Dynamics–Grumman EF-111A Raven and Lockheed EC-130H Compass Call.
