Abstract
The article presents a study which determines the association of neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus with global disease activity. The researchers recruited patients from an academic lupus clinic and measured the global disease activity with the SLE Disease Activity Index 2000 (SLEDAI-2K) and organ damage with the Systemic Lupus International Collaborating Clinics (SLICC)/ American College of Rheumatology (ACR) damage index (SDI).
