Abstract
The article presents a case report of a 57-year-old man who developed cervico-facial necrotising fasciitis after a routine dental extraction that was caused by Candida albicans. The article discusses the resection of the infected soft and bony tissues on the patient's face and neck as well as the subsequent free flap reconstruction. It also discusses research on fungal necrotising fasciitis.
