Abstract
The article focuses on how to ensure adequate mixing of blood samples before analysis a proposed method for verification of satisfactory sample mixing by automated red blood cell count analyzers. Topics include the complete blood count test is the forerunner of hematology laboratory test menu, and the College of American Pathologists mandates that all blood specimens collected in anticoagulant for hematology testing should be thoroughly mixed immediately before analysis.
