Abstract
The article discusses the etiology, diagnosis and management of diffuse unilateral subacute neuroretinitis (DUSN), an ocular infectious disease caused by one of 2 different sized and unidentified nematodes capable of infiltrating the subretinal space. Identification must be based on the measurement of the parasite's dimensions, serologic testing and epidemiologic testing. Main clinical findings are evanescent, multifocal, white-yellowish lesions at the level of the outer retina and choroids.
