Abstract
The article discusess a study conducted for examining underwater social and vocal behavior of humpback whales recorded on the Northern Coast of Ecuador. It mentions Humpback whale interactions with conspecifics may be sensitive to human perturbations, which have the potential to interfere with the whales' social behavior. It also mentions that underwater video data and data obtained from acoustic methods may increase awareness and understanding of the same.
