Abstract
This article discusses the persistent racial disparities in the prevalence and treatment of uterine leiomyomas, also known as fibroids. It highlights the need for more research and data on leiomyoma management options, including their effects on fertility, pregnancy outcomes, quality of life, and the need for reintervention. Two studies included in the article provide insights into pregnancy outcomes after radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and the risk of reintervention in uterine-sparing treatments. The article emphasizes the importance of addressing the racial disparities in leiomyoma disease and the need for more resources and research to improve patient outcomes. [Extracted from the article]
