Abstract
The authors comment on a report by J. L. Caswell-Jin et al on cascade testing in relatives at risk for hereditary cancer. Topics include benefits conferred by multigene cancer panel testing (MCPT) in relatives at risk for a familial pathogenic variant (PV), risks and limitations associated with MCPT, and public health impact of the implementation of cascade testing.
