Abstract
The article discusses the development of a Canadian standardized core curriculum in complex care for post graduate trainees in pediatrics to teach care essentials of pediatric complex care. It aims to share the results of a needs assessment for post-graduate training in pediatric complex care obtained by surveying health care professionals across North America. It suggests for pediatric post-graduate trainees to competently care for children with chronic and complex medical conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
