Abstract
Presents information on a study conducted to evaluate the use of glycosaminoglycans (GAG) as biomarkers in detecting the early kidney effects in the exposure of a-alkoxyethanols and their acetates. Composition of 2-alkoxyalcohols; Possible effects of beta N-acetyglycosaminidase activity (NAG) on the body; Reference to the role of GAG in urinary albumin excretion.
