Abstract
The article discusses the evaluation of a tool called CONECCT for predicting histology and choosing appropriate treatment for colorectal lesions. The tool integrates criteria from six existing classifications into a single table, simplifying the diagnostic process. A prospective study involving French gastroenterology residents demonstrated that the CONECCT table significantly improves histological prediction and therapeutic choice. The study found that the CONECCT classification had superior or equivalent sensitivity, specificity, negative predictive value, and positive predictive value compared to other classifications. Further analysis is being conducted to assess inter-observer concordance. [Extracted from the article]
